The original of this old fireback was purchased at an antique shop outside of Paris. Although it shows some slight wear from the heat of the fire, the definition is generally quite good throughout.

Its shape is ideal for medium and large fireplaces where its well proportioned, rounded, scrolled top lends it a fullness behind the fire.
